How to install Tor Browser in AlmaLinux 8

Secure your privacy while browsing online by installing Tor browser on Linux based Almalinux 8 RPM using command terminal.

When it comes to accessing the famous standard dark web browsers, they are not safe without any third-party technology. Well, in such situations, the Tor browser is needed to use the Tor network, which is used by around two million people every day. It is based on Mozilla Firefox. The name Tor was originally an acronym for “The Onion Router”. The reference to an onion was not accidental but meant to indicate that the Tor network consists of several layers because users can surf the Internet anonymously.

In Tor Network, all data packets are sent from node to node (proxy server) without any point knowing the previous points. You will also receive a random, anonymous IP address. However, there is also no 100% security guarantee here, as every system can potentially be misused by criminals, for example through social engineering or other methods. Not only can you access the dark web with Tor Browser, but you can also surf the regular web. Safety is higher, but speed is lower due to the many diversions.

Just like the dark web itself, the Tor browser is not illegal. Therefore, you can simply download the Tor Browser Pack for free.
